  2. A7501-NS, A7501-GK, and A7502 are all uninstalled and should be removed from the air cap by unscrewing and removing them

  3. In order to remove the needle (A7520) that is affixed to the gun at the back, unscrew the Material Adjustment Screw (A7522). As soon as the trigger is pulled, take hold of the back of the needle and pull it out.

  1. The Retaining Nut for the Air Valve (A7519), the gasket (A7518 & A7517), the Air Valve Return Spring (A7516), and the Air Valve Stem (A7515) are all removed from outside of the spray gun by using a wrench. Once removed, the retaining nut should be taken out with a wrench, and then the gasket will be removed as well. The Bushing (A7514) does not need to be removed in order for this to work.

  2. Make sure that the Material Blanking Cap (A7533) is loosely fastened to the spray gun at the front by using the wrench.

  3. It will be necessary to remove both the Gland Seal (A7527) and the Nut (A7528) in order to replace them. For this purpose, you will need to use the back end of the needle as a lever.

  4. Use the different brushes soaked in cleaning solution so as to scrub all of the surfaces inside the gun body thoroughly to ensure that the inside of the gun body is thoroughly cleaned.

  5. After cleaning the spray gun, use a soft towel to wipe down the entire body of the spray gun. When you have finished cleaning all the other parts of the machine, set it down to dry.

  6. Use the tools and brushes included in the Spray Gun Cleaning Kit in order to thoroughly clean each of the parts of the spray gun that have been soaked in the cleaning solution. All threads should be checked to ensure that there is no dried paint or other debris attached to them. All holes and apertures should be clear and all holes and apertures should have a good seal.

  7. The parts should be thoroughly dried and set out to dry for a couple of days.

  8. The outside threads on the housing of the Air Distributor (A7506-NS) are well-suited to being corroded by dry fluids, and if you pay close attention to them, you will notice that they lock the ring lock onto the threads in such a way that you cannot separate the ring lock.

  9. There is a great deal of material that tends to accumulate between the needle and the gland seal (A7527) on the end of the needle when it is being cleaned. Ensure that the entire surface of the needle is smooth and free of materials.

Spray guns need to be reassembled in the following manner:

  1. Upon completing the cleaning and drying of all the parts of the spray gun, assemble it again. The process of reassembly does not need to be done in a particular order except that the Nozzle (A7503) must be put in before the Needle (A7520) can be inserted.

  1. As the name indicates, A7501-GK is a gasket which has a thin edge and a larger flat edge, which results in a sharper edge as compared to A7501-GK. In order to place the flat edge in the groove, it must be inserted into the groove at the bottom.

  1. In order to adjust the air flow, the A7508 Fan Adjustment Ring has slots at the top and bottom of the ring, which are angled at 6 o’clock and 12 o’clock, and is screwed on. The air distribution plate’s slits (A7507) should align with the slits on the fan adjusting ring in order to ensure that the fan is properly adjusted.

  1. On older models of the Air Distributor, the top section uses four holes and the bottom section uses five holes. It will be the pin that will fill the fifth hole, the four holes in the top, and the four holes in the bottom will be left unfilled.

If you do not need to use the spray gun for several days, then you can remove it.
